Description
This is a domestic outbuilding and wall located about four yards southeast of The Manor. It was built in the early 18th century and has mid-19th century alterations. The structure is made of brick and features a plain tiled roof with parapets and kneelers at the gable ends. It stands two storeys high and has a three-course band at the eaves level on the gable ends. The west side includes a ground floor six-pane sash window and a single-light casement, along with two first floor three-light casements and a door with a cambered head. The east side has a large entrance with double doors and a cambered head, although the central part of this elevation had collapsed at the time of the survey in June 1985. There is an external 19th century chimney at the south gable end. Inside, the roof features intermediate tie-beam trusses with raking struts. The building is connected to The Manor by a wall that is about four yards long and nine feet high, which includes a doorway with a cambered head.
