Description
This building is a stable located about 10 yards north-west of No 12, known as The Old Black Boy. It was built in the early to mid-19th century and is constructed of brick with a plain tiled roof. The stable has two levels and features a dentilled eaves cornice. The main elevation facing south-west has two semi-circular arched openings on the ground floor, a loft door, and a tall central entrance with a cambered head. This entrance includes a stable door and a transom light with five glazing bars. There are external brick and sandstone steps at the south-east gable end that lead up to a ledged and battened door for the upper floor. The interior has not been inspected. The stable is prominently visible from Droitwich Road and is included for its group value with No 12.
