Description

The lychgate at the Church of Our Lady and St Alphonsus dates from around 1846 and is attributed to AWN Pugin. It has a rectangular plan and is made of timber with a tiled roof. The lychgate features a tall, gabled roof supported by thick chamfered timber posts with curved braces. It includes a double gate and a separate pedestrian gate.
