Description
16 and 18 Church Street is a late 16th century timber-framed house with plaster infill, located in Upton-upon-Severn. The building features plain tile roofs. Number 16 is a two-storey house with an attic and a cross gable. It has a three-bay frame at the front and a two-bay rear range. The windows have been renewed, with casements above and shop windows below, both featuring glazing bars. Number 18 is set back and is also two-storey, showcasing close-set vertical studding. It has a three-bay frame at the front with a gabled range behind. This section includes four-light casements above and a four-light eight-pane shop window below. There is a through passage on the west side with a tiled hood at the angle. Additionally, there is an 18th-century brick vaulted storage range at the rear of Number 16.
