Description

This is a mid-18th century brick house, with a stuccoed front added in the 19th century. It has a hipped roof covered in plain tiles, featuring two eaves stacks on the side. The house is two storeys high, with a two-window arrangement to the front. A wooden box cornice sits above the windows. Two 19th-century three-sided wooden oriels project from the upper floor, while a 19th-century shopfront with panelled pilasters occupies the ground floor. To the side of the building is a moulded brick string, and there is a three-window range to the first floor, with one blank window, all with gauged brick flat arched heads. The building is included on the list for its contribution to the group value of the surrounding buildings.
