Description

The War Memorial located in the churchyard of Upton-upon-Severn is a late medieval structure that was originally a village cross. Made of stone, it was moved to Ham Court in the 18th century, where it was converted into a sundial. It was returned to its original location and repurposed as a war memorial in 1920. The memorial features a circular base, an octagonal shaft, and a small four-sided sundial top, which has a decayed iron vane above it.
