Description

2 and 4 Swan Street is a 17th to 18th century timber-framed and plastered building. Number 2 features a small slate roof extension at the front and is finished in roughcast. It has two storeys with a three-window range of 18th century casements on the upper storey and a modern shop front on the ground floor. There is a cart entrance at the east end. Number 4 is faced in pebbledash and also has two storeys, with a three-window range of double-hung sashes that include single vertical glazing bars. The central entrance has a six-panel door with a wood architrave. Both roofs are tiled, and Number 4 has a central ridge chimney stack.
