Description

Bridge House and Boxford Stores is an early to mid-19th century front attached to an earlier timber-framed and plastered building, likely originating from the 16th or 17th century. The structure has two storeys and features a four-window range of double-hung sash windows with glazing bars and hood moulds. The ground floor includes a 19th-century shop front with pilasters and a dentilled cornice, along with a six-panel door topped by a fanlight. The ground floor is faced with brick, and the roof is hipped and covered with slate. At the rear, two wings extend to the west, showcasing some exposed timber-framing and an old blocked window.
