Description

No. 5 Church Street is a 17th to 18th century timber-framed and plastered building, featuring 18th century and later window designs. The front displays the initials A.M.T. and the date 1767, which are pricked into the plaster. At the south end, there is an addition with a lean-to tiled roof. The building has two storeys and a two-window range in the main block, primarily consisting of casements. The ground storey includes a small 18th century bay window with glazing bars and a double-hung sash window, also with glazing bars. The roof is tiled.
