Description

This is a late 17th-century timber-framed building, with a brick facade dating from the 18th century, and an old tile roof. It comprises two properties, number 8 and number 10, located on Church Walk. The right-hand gable of the building retains timber framing with brick nogging. Number 10 features a ground floor entrance with a 19th-century tile-hung gabled hood supported by wooden brackets, as well as two 2-light casement windows with cambered relieving arches. The first floor of number 10 has two 2-light casement windows. Number 8 has a single 2-light casement window on both the ground and first floors, and a small window near the top corner of the right-hand wall. A 19th-century tile-hung gabled hood on wooden brackets shelters the entrance on the return side.
