Description
Number 1 is a building dating from the 18th century, which has a casing of a 17th century timber-framed structure. It stands two storeys high and is constructed of brick, featuring a full-height oak post at the junction with Number 2. The roof is thatched with a half hipped gable, while the central section is tiled and includes three gabled dormers fitted with modern sash windows. To the left, there is a shop front, a two-light casement window, a modern lead glazed door, and another two-light casement window on the right, all of which have segmental brick arches above them. At the rear, there is a small extension with a parallel tiled roof and chequer brick walls. Additionally, there is a small stone barn with a tiled roof located at the rear of the property.
