Description
Number 16 is an early 19th-century building located on the southeast side of High Street in Long Crendon. It is two storeys tall, constructed of brick, and features a slate roof. The façade has four bays of sash windows, each with flat gauged arches. The door, located in the second bay from the left, is accompanied by a highly decorative open wrought iron porch that has a concave gabled roof. There is a blank window above the door. To the left, there is a slate lean-to against the left-hand bay, which is adjacent to the former Smithy. This area has an altered cart door to the right and a segmental arched opening to the left, with a three-light casement window above. In front of the house, there are contemporary wrought iron railings and a gate, both featuring decorative finials and small spearheads.
