Description

The Church of St Peter is a parish church that originated in the 13th century and was lengthened in the 14th century. A north porch was added in the 15th century. The top of the tower and the spire were completed in 1864, and the south porch was designed by the architect George Edmund Street. The church contains notable monuments, as referenced in the Victoria County History and the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments.
