Description

This building, at 27 High Street, Burnham, is a house that was originally a Dame School and later a shop. It dates from the 17th century. The building has a timber-frame structure and was refronted with colourwashed brick, retaining a hipped tiled roof hidden behind a rendered brick parapet. A brick string course runs along the first floor. The building is two storeys high. The ground floor has a modern entrance door, along with one two-light casement window and one three-light casement window. The first floor has two two-light casement windows.
