Description

14 and 16 High Street are buildings dating from the 18th century or early 19th century. They are constructed of red brick, with No 16 featuring a slate roof and No 14 having a modern tile roof behind a parapet. The ground floor of No 16 has a modern shop front, while the first floor has two sash windows. No 14 includes an arched carriage entrance with a sash window above it. The remainder of No 14's front has been rebuilt, featuring a recessed modern shop front and a large plate glass window above, which is no longer of interest.
