Description

No. 22 High Street is a mission room built in 1880 by Mr. George Hanbury of Blythwood, Hitcham. The building is constructed of red brick with stone dressings and features twin gables and a machine tile roof. It has three storeys, with the ground floor showcasing a recessed modern shop front. The first floor contains two 3-light casement windows, while the second floor has two 2-light casement windows. All windows and the date plaque are adorned with drip moulds. The building is listed for its group value.
