Description

This is a 17th-century timber-framed building, located on the west side of London Road in Redenhall with Harleston. The exterior is now plastered, and the roof is covered with steep black glazed pantiles, featuring gabled ends. The building is two storeys high. The first floor of number 16 has a sash window without glazing bars. Number 18 features modern metal-frame casement windows. On the ground floor, number 16 has a mid-19th century window with glazing bars, a central glazed door, and a cornice supported by console brackets. Number 18 has an altered mid-19th century shop window with a similar cornice on console brackets. A brick chimney stack is a prominent feature.
