Description

This is a 17th-century timber-framed house, which was later encased in painted brickwork during the early 19th century. The roof is hipped and covered with black glazed pantiles, featuring wide eaves. The corners are emphasised by plain brick pilasters. The house has two storeys and four windows, containing sash windows with glazing bars. A doorcase in the centre of the right side of the building has reeded pilasters and a cornice, leading to a glazed and panelled front door. A rebuilt brick chimney stack is also present. Inside, the house retains stop-chamfered spine beams with run-out stops.
