Description

This is a 17th-century building of two storeys and an attic, comprising numbers 50 and 51 Chediston Street. It has a steep, pantiled roof with a large, centrally positioned chimney featuring ornamental brick carvings. The building is timber-framed and has a roughcast render. The front elevation features two three-light mullion and transom casement windows on each floor, and a window in the end gable. A high brick plinth runs along the base. There are two four-panel doors; the door at number 50 has a moulded architrave, while the door at number 51 is set within a solid frame.
