Description

The war memorial, located approximately 20 metres north of the Church of St Mary, dates from around 1920 and incorporates medieval fragments. It has a square base mounted on two steps, which is inscribed with the names of the deceased. The memorial features a tapering octagonal shaft that is carved with a sacred monogram. The cross head is also intricately carved with tracery and includes a crucifix.
