Description
The White Cottage is a house that likely dates from the 17th century. It features rendered timber-framing and a tile roof, and it stands two storeys high. The west wall includes a gabled one-bay cross-wing on the right and has irregularly-spaced casement windows. There are two windows on the ground floor towards the left, and a chimney is positioned to the left of the cross-wing, set forward of the ridge. The left-hand gable wall shows exposed framing, with curved braces supporting the tie-beam. The rear wall of the cross-wing displays some square panelled framing and a truss with vertical struts connecting the tie-beam and collar. The interior has not been inspected.
