Description
Holly Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that has undergone alterations and extensions in the mid-20th century. It features a timber-framed structure with rendered infill and a tiled roof, along with an external brick stack at the right gable end. The cottage consists of two framed bays and is a single storey with an attic that includes dormers. The front wall has square panels, with three panels extending from the sill to the wall-plate, and a long straight brace in the middle. The gable ends are supported by queen strut trusses. The front elevation includes three ground floor casement windows, two gabled dormers with casements, and a central lean-to porch that has a rendered finish with a part-glazed door and side lights. The interior has not been inspected. There are 20th-century extensions at the gable ends and to the rear.
