Description

Salways Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse with additions from the 19th century. It is constructed of brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a slate roof, gable end parapets, and external brick stacks with tiled offsets. The house is two storeys high and has a dentilled eaves cornice. It has five bays, with windows featuring stone sills and cambered heads; the brick arches above the windows are defined by orange stretchers and blue brick headers. All windows contain 2-light casements. The central doorway has a flat canopy supported by console brackets and a mid-19th century six-panelled door with a barred rectangular fanlight above. The interior has not been inspected. 19th century additions are present to the rear of the property.
