Description

This milestone, located at National Grid Reference SO 731557, dates from the late 19th century. It is made of cast iron and painted white, featuring a raised inscription. The milestone has a triangular shape and is partially buried in the ground. The top plate displays the name of the parish. On the left side, there is a hand pointing to the right with the inscription "TO WORCESTER/ CROSS/ 9 MILES" below it. On the right side, another hand points to the left, with the text "TO SUCKLEY/ 3½ MILES/ TO CRADLEY" underneath. This milestone is part of a group of similar markers in the area.
