Description

The Granary is a former stable built in the 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It features a timber frame with brick infill and a sandstone rubble plinth, topped by a tiled roof. The structure consists of two bays, with a 19th-century rear outshut that overlaps with the back of The Flying Horse. There is a planked door in the west gable leading to the hayloft, and a gabled hoist door to the hayloft located in the west bay of the rear elevation. Inside, the building has a raking strut truss. The Granary is included for its group value with nearby structures.
