Description

The Old Coach House is a former stable building dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of painted brick and features a plain tile roof. The building is two stories high, with a hay loft above. It has a dog-tooth cornice leading to a kneelered parapet roof, which is adorned with three projecting kneelered gables that match those of the nearby Woolpack Inn and the stables across the street. Each gable has a plain board stable door, with casement lights on either side. The central gable includes a hay loft door situated above the stable door. The building is included in the listing for its group value with nearby structures.
