Description

This is a milestone located at National Grid Reference SO 721545, dating from the late 19th century. It is made of cast iron and painted white, featuring a raised black inscription. The milestone has a triangular shape and is partially buried. The top plate displays the parish name. On the left side, there is a hand pointing right with the inscription "TO WORCESTER/ CROSS/ 10 MILES" beneath it. On the right side, another hand points left, with "TO SUCKLEY/ 2½ MILES/ TO CRADLEY" written below. This milestone is part of a group of similar milestones in the area.
