Description

This is a milestone located on the south side of the A4103 in Cradley, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is made of cast iron and has a triangular shape with a splayed top. The milestone features relief lettering, including a pointing hand on the side panels. The splayed top displays the name "CRADLEY," while the left side panel indicates distances to Bishop's Frome (7 miles), Bromyard (8 and 3/4 miles), and Hereford (18 miles). The right side panel shows distances to Leigh Sinton (2 miles), Malvern (2 miles), and Worcester (8 miles).
