Description

This is a milestone located in Cradley, dating from the early to mid 19th century. It is made of cast iron and has a triangular shape with a splayed top. The top features relief lettering, and there is a pointing hand on the side panels. The splayed top reads "CRADLEY," while the left side panel indicates distances to Bishop's Frome (6 miles), Bromyard (7 and 3/4 miles), and Hereford (17 miles). The right side panel shows distances to Leigh Sinton (3 miles), Malvern (3 and 3/4 miles), and Worcester (9 miles).
