Description

The gate piers with overthrow and gate to the Priory Church of St Mary and St Michael date from the late 19th century. They are made of stone and feature carved cornices and capitals. The wrought-iron overthrow includes a lamp holder. The outer piers are designed for foot passenger entry and the gate itself. These structures are included for their group value.
