Description
Carton Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse that has undergone mid-20th-century alterations. It is constructed of brick and features a hipped plain tiled roof. The building has three storeys and a cellar, with a dentilled eaves cornice. It is arranged in three bays, with windows that have cambered heads and are all cross-casements; notably, the central window on the second floor is blind. The central entrance includes a 20th-century porch with a large round-arched timber canopy supported by a brick base, leading to a six-panelled door with a four-paned transom light. The interior has not been inspected. At the rear, there are two large brick stacks, the bases of which are enclosed by two rear wings.
