TENBURY CP ST MICHAELS SO 56 NE 2/125 Cadmore

House. C17 (possibly on earlier site); restored late C20. Timber-framed with rendered infill on rubble base and plain tiled roof. Two framed bays aligned north/south; external rubble chimney with tall detached brick stack at north end. Single storey and attic with dormers. Framing: three panels from sill to wall-plate, short straight braces across upper corners and collar and tie-beam trusses with struts and V-struts above collar. East entrance elevation: windows are all C20 leaded casements. There are four square windows on the ground floor, a square stair window and a gabled dormer with a 3-light window. Main entrance at north end has a C20 flat canopy on shaped brackets and a C20 door. Single storey addition at north end to front of chimney with a square and a rectangular window in its east elevation. Also large two- storey addition to south-west. Interior: framing is said to have all survived and also large fireplace. The house is said to stand on the site of an earlier rubble building.
