Description
This is a pigeoncote located approximately 50 metres east of Hillend House, likely built in the early 19th century with some later alterations. It is constructed of stone rubble with some brick dressings and features a tiled roof. The structure has two storeys, with the north-west wall being blind. The south-west gable wall includes an inserted doorway on the ground floor with brick reveals, and a window on the upper storey that has a segmental head and brick reveals. Inside, the walls of the upper storey contain nesting boxes, and there are two bolted king-post trusses. The pigeoncote is included for its group value.
