Description

Folliott House is a large house dating to 1785. It is constructed of brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a tile roof. The house is two storeys high with an attic, and originally comprised three bays. The windows are mostly sash windows with glazing bars, each with a keystone. The central window on the first floor is different; it is a casement window with a round head and a central timber mullion that branches to form Y-tracery. The keystone of this window is inscribed with the initials "JW 1785". There are three gabled dormers in the attic. The central doorway has a transom light and a flat timber hood supported by brackets. Gable chimneys are present.
