Description
This building is a barn and cart shed located about 15 meters south of Hollytree Farmhouse. It dates from the early 19th century and incorporates remains of a 17th-century barn. The structure is built of brick with some timber-framing and has a tiled roof. It features four bays, with a threshing floor situated to the east of the center and a granary above the cart shed at the west end. The south front has a gable above the entrance to the threshing floor, and there are external steps leading to the west gable end. Only fragments of the original framing remain. The barn is prominently positioned along the roadside, facing Hollytree Farmhouse, and is included for its group value.
