Description

Moundsley Lodge is a late 19th-century lodge originally built for Moundsley Hall, and later converted into a house in 1937. The lodge is constructed of painted brick with a tile roof featuring decorative ridge tiles. Its approximate T-shaped plan incorporates both one and two-story sections. The front elevation, facing Walker’s Heath Road, features an altered door set within a gabled projection with bargeboarding. To the left is an altered casement window and a half-hipped dormer window within the roof. A modern extension has been added to the left side. On the side facing the drive, there is a shallow, canted bay window with a tiled roof and a crest above.
