Description
Brailes Cottage and Quinton Cottage are two houses that were originally built in the late 17th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. The buildings feature a timber-frame construction with rendered infill and a tiled roof, along with gable-end brick stacks. They are one storey high with an attic that is illuminated by three gabled dormers. On the ground floor, there are three 4-light casement windows. The entrance to Brailes Cottage is located to the left of the center and has a 20th-century gabled tiled canopy with a glazed door. The entrance to Quinton Cottage is at the rear on the right side. The framing consists of four square panels high with straight angle braces, and the gable truss has two struts supporting the collar.
