Description
Perrymill Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 17th century, with some alterations made in the mid-20th century. It features a timber-frame structure with painted brick infill and a machine-tile roof. The building has a T-plan layout, with a cross-wing at the west end that is aligned north to south and consists of two framed bays, while the other range has one framed bay. There is a stack located at the junction of these sections. The farmhouse is two storeys tall and has a gable-lit attic in the cross-wing on the left side. The windows include two on the upper floor, which are 3- and 2-light casements, and on the ground floor, there is a 3-light casement to the left and a mid-20th century square bay window with a lean-to on the right. The entrance is located in the return wall of the cross-wing and features a 20th-century ledged and boarded door. The framing consists of four square panels high with straight angle braces, and the gable end has three struts to the collar with V-struts in the apex.
