Description

Farthings Cottage and Brae Cottage are a pair of houses dating from the early to mid 18th century. They are constructed from rubble and feature double Roman tiled roofs. Each house is two storeys high, with one window and one door on the ground floor and two windows on the first floor. The windows are two-light casements with moulded mullions. Brae Cottage has an off-centre six-panel door set in a plain stone surround, while Farthings Cottage has a modern door.
