Description
The gate piers and wall, located about 20 metres north-west of Bentley House Farmhouse, date from the late 17th century and have undergone some repairs in the mid-20th century. Constructed from sandstone ashlar, the wall stretches approximately 30 metres along the roadside, with a 20-metre return at the north-west end. It consists of four courses topped with stone coping. The gate piers, positioned roughly in the center of the road front, are rusticated and feature a moulded cornice and ball finials.
