Description
Perrymill Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates back to the early 17th century, with cladding added in the late 17th century and some alterations made in the late 20th century. It features a timber-frame structure with rendered infill, faced in brick with stone dressings, and has a tiled roof. The building has a T-plan layout, with a cross-wing aligned north/south and another range extending to the east, including a lateral stack on the west wall of the cross-wing.
The south front displays stone quoins, a stone-coped verge, and a moulded cornice, all resting on a moulded stone plinth. It is one storey high with a gable-lit attic in the cross-wing on the left and a gabled dormer on the right. The ground floor has two sets of three-light casements, each under stone wedged lintels with keystones. The entrance, located in the angle, features a late 20th-century ledged and boarded door beneath a lean-to tiled canopy. The rear elevation reveals exposed framing with three square panels high and straight tension braces.
