Description

The gate piers, gates, and flanking walls located about 20 metres south-west of Bittell Farmhouse date from the late 17th century, with some repairs made in the mid-20th century. They are constructed from brick and sandstone ashlar. The structure features two low brick walls with stone coping that rise up to two gate piers, which are made of rusticated ashlar and have moulded cornices and ball finials. The gates are made of cast iron and were installed in the early 20th century.
