Description

The gate piers and forecourt wall located to the west of Wattsfield Farmhouse are likely from the 18th century, with some later alterations. The gate piers are made of ashlar and stand on plinth blocks. They are square in shape, approximately 10 feet high, and feature corniced tops topped with ball finials. There is a 20th-century wrought-iron gate. The flanking drystone walls are about 5 feet high and have flat copings. This structure is included for its group value with the farmhouse.
