Description

Timberhonger Farmhouse is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house. It dates from the 17th century but was refronted in the mid-18th century, with further alterations made in the mid-19th and mid-20th centuries. The building is constructed of brick and has a plain tiled roof with end stacks. It is two storeys high and features a cogged eaves cornice.

The farmhouse has four bays; on the ground floor, there is a 19th-century hipped bay window with plain sashes, alongside two 16-pane 20th-century sashes. The first floor has four 16-pane 20th-century sashes, and there is a central entrance with a 20th-century door. The main entrance is located in a lean-to addition on the right side, which has a half-glazed 20th-century door.

At the rear left, there is a timber-framed wing consisting of two framed bays with rendered infill. This wing is two storeys high with an attic and features four panels from the sill to the wall-plate, small swept upper corner braces, and a collar and tie-beam truss with three struts at the gable end. The wing has 20th-century casements throughout, with the gable end displaying a 2-light window on both floors; the ground floor window has flanking lights, and there is an attic light. Additionally, there is a stable door, two first-floor windows, and a skylight on the west side. To the left of the west side elevation, there is a probable arched doorhead.
