Description

This stable, dating from the late 18th century, has been restored and re-erected in 1981. It features a timber frame with brick infill set on a sandstone ashlar plinth, topped with a tiled roof. The structure consists of two framed bays. The entrance, located to the left of center, has a wide stable door, with a shuttered window to the right and a loft door in the right-hand gable. The framing includes one rectangular panel high with curved tension braces. Inside, there are 19th-century stable fittings. The stable was originally removed from Ridgeway Court Farm in Dodderhill in 1979.
