Description

This is a wagon shed, likely built in the late 18th century, that was re-erected and restored in 1981. It features a timber frame, is weatherboarded, and has a half-hipped tile roof. The structure consists of three framed bays with open gable ends. The walls are made up of one rectangular panel high and include straight tension braces. All trusses have curved braces connecting to the tie-beam, while the gable ends are supported by queen-post roof trusses. The intermediate trusses have king-posts with two raking struts. The wagon shed was relocated from near Beck's Farm in Hanbury in 1980.
