Description
The Lion's Den is a house built in the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick in Flemish bond and has a tiled roof. The building has three storeys and two bays. On the ground floor, there are timber canted bay windows. The first-floor windows are sash windows with segmental brick heads, while the second-floor windows are also sash windows but with glazing bars. The entrance door, located between the bays, features panelled reveals and is framed by a doorcase with engaged Tuscan columns and a mutule cornice. The house has gable chimneys.
