Description
The Red Lion Public House, at number 172 Park Lane West, Tipton, is likely from the mid-19th century, although it incorporates some elements from the 18th century. The building is constructed of painted brick with a tile roof. It is two storeys high and has two bays. A timber canted bay window projects from the left-hand side of the ground floor. The right-hand side of the ground floor features a wide window with a timber surround and cornice. The first-floor windows are sash windows. A moulded brick eaves cornice runs along the top of the building. The right-hand gable is coped and there are end chimneys. The building is listed for its group value.
