Description
The Towpath Bridge over the Gower Branch at the junction with the New Main Line was built in 1855. It is constructed from cast iron and features brick abutments with some sandstone dressings. The bridge has a single shallow segmental arch. The sides are made from a single casting that is pierced to create a lattice pattern of saltire crosses. The bridge is inscribed with "HORSELY CO TIPTON 1855".
