Description

Towpath bridge built in 1858. It is made of cast iron with sandstone dressed brick abutments and wings. The bridge features a single shallow arch, and its sides are decorated with a lattice saltaire cross pattern. It is inscribed with "Horseley Iron Company Tipton 1858". The deck has cross plates. This bridge was constructed over the Two Lock Line, which served as a shortcut to the Dudley No.1 canal. The canal collapsed in 1894 due to old mine workings and was closed in 1909.
